About TC - The Company

Answering a need in the rapidly growing Southern California aerospace subcontract market for quick delivery of small paint orders, TC Specialties opened for business in 1979. Built on the cornerstones of stock availability, immediate shipment, no minimums, and fair pricing, TC has become a multi-million dollar business, supplying coatings to over 2000 accounts all across the United States and Canada.

The keys to our success seem a little old-fashioned in this day and age -- personalized service, and the philosophy that we are here to serve our customers' needs. In that tradition, a real person still answers the phone during working hours, and voice mail hasn't caught up with us yet. We do have "music-on-hold" but will rarely make you listen to an entire song.

On the other side of the coin, we have all the modern technology necessary for order processing and inventory management - including computer systems designed to handle the complexity of products sold in kits, with multiple batch codes and dates, meeting varied OEM specifications. Our systems provide computerized certification and complete traceability on all products. Along with the necessary email access, we now offer the ability to download technical data sheets by an access link with the Akzo Nobel Aerospace Coatings website (see "Stock Listings"). Akzo also plans to offer on line access to Material Safety Data Sheets in the near future, and we will provide that link as well from our site when the time comes.

TC has warehouses and sales support in the Pacific Northwest and on the East Coast, in addition to the main warehouse and home office staff in the Los Angeles/Orange County area of Southern California. We also offer full technical support, backed by the experts at the manufacturers we represent. Compliant to MIL-I-45208, our quality system is in the process of conforming to the requirements of ISO9001/AS9100.
