A nationally respected leader in the distribution of AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings since 1979

 

Recognizing a growing need for quick delivery in the burgeoning Southern California aerospace subcontract market led founders Terry and Clella Werner (hence the name "TC") to begin their new company as an AkzoNobel aerospace paint distributor in 1979. A former painter himself, Terry quickly established TC Specialties as the local "go to" company for customers in need of quick turnaround. It wasn't long before word of mouth (well before the internet!) helped successfully expand business on a nationwide basis. Ready for retirement in 1993, Terry and Clella sold the company to Tony Rocci (who later retired in 2006) and Gary Fujihara, both formerly employed by AkzoNobel Aerospace in Orange, CA prior to the division's sale and relocation to North Carolina, and later to Illinois. Shortly thereafter, TC Specialties established a warehouse in the Seattle area to better serve customers in the Pacific Northwest.

  • AOG/Priority One shipments - same day service on TC's in-stock products up to 2:00 pm PST

    • No expedite fees on any shipment from TC inventory
